Root & Regenerate Workshop

Kristin Jewell of Heart Centered Herbals and Jessy Coleman of Jessy C Yoga combine forces to bring in the New Year with a restorative and nourishing two-day collaboration. Tucked away in the Blue Ridge Mountains' foothills, you'll root in a restful retreat and emerge feeling regenerated, ready to embrace the quiet gifts of the winter season.

Our New Year's Eve day will begin with a root plant meditation to ground us and create our container. We will practice relaxation through our senses by combining movement and sound healing, and then do some relaxing breathing exercises before sharing a nourishing meal. We'll spend the afternoon cleansing and releasing with a steam sauna sweat, as well as discussing and creating herbal medicines that nourish, restore, and gently calm the body, mind, and spirit, before moving into a yoga Nidra practice of the day and concluding with a fire ceremony.
